01 — Overview

Resort Salvezza is a speculative visitor experience for a coastal resort and marketplace in Sorrento, Italy — imagining what tourism looks like in 2055 through environmental storytelling, interpretive design, and sensory engagement.

02 — Challenge

Speculative futures usually arrive as spectacle. This one had to feel like somewhere you could actually arrive, wander, eat, and leave — a place with weather, wear, and habits, not a concept render.

03 — Approach

I designed the visit as a sequence: arrival, marketplace, shoreline, departure. Interpretive signage and wayfinding carry the story of a changed coastline, while material, scent, sound, and shade do the rest — sensory cues that let visitors feel the 2055 climate rather than read about it.

04 — Outcome

A full speculative visitor experience: site narrative, interpretive signage system, marketplace identity, and sensory design direction across the resort.
